Alignment In The New Consciousness

Alignment In The New Consciousness

At times it seems as though our lives are a bit challenging, perhaps frustrating, and, even in our darkest times, fearful. You may ask yourself, how do I live a more balanced life? When we have set our goals for truth, and living the life of unconditional love, we must remember that, it will always take us to the next steps of our spiritual journey.

This must be done without fear of change or resistance to growth. Others who watch you gradually shift and change need to understand that you embrace unconditional love as your choice in your life, and whatever lessons this brings to you; you need for your growth.

It is important for you to understand that, in your life, you have what you truly need to take the next steps into alignment. You are being guided by your intuition to go exactly where you need to go.

There is no need to fear the unknown and when you release the fear and develop trust you will take your next step in spiritual growth. Your inner soul searching is powerful and takes you where you need to be in your life. It doesn’t support you to skip over your lessons, or go around them. It’s the next rung on the ladder on your spiritual path. Support each other through these times; hold each other’s hands and embrace each other’s hearts emotionally because this isn’t an easy exercise for any of us. The joy comes in knowing that you are clearly provided for, taken care of and never alone. This is how you will make the next shift in your consciousness and in making some shifts you’ll feel more joyful and light than in others.

This particular shift into alignment has a different quality of a deeper, inward, soul search–deeper than you’ve gone ever before. But that’s the beauty in the depth of which you are searching. It takes you into a new place, in your life. You are not ever without support and you must hold tightly to your truth. In essence, you must understand that very few people on this earth live in this particular way and walk in two worlds. What you are doing here is walking with a foot in two different worlds, gathering the strength from both dimensions. It’s a very supportive place, and you will feel the self-empowerment in walking in both worlds. As you learn how to do this, you’ll teach others how to do this because, as the consciousness shifts, others will ask you, “How do you live in this in this fearful world without falling apart? Your world is shifting very quickly, and what is not aligned with you, cannot remain.

The alignment of consciousness is the most important thing for us to focus on at this time. It is not what you do; it is how you feel when you do it. It’s not whom you connect with; it’s how do you feel when you connect with them. The alignment in the very core of your soul needs to be shifted and tuned until you can feel the balance of alignment. This next piece is to feel aligned on all levels that you share, whether it is how you work, how you relate to others, or how you live. This is how you help yourself and others shift into this new time.

You will notice the earth also shifting and changing. What is not aligned is being released. Let go. Those of you that walk the earth that are not aligned with the consciousness at this time are also being released with these changes. But the beauty is, When you do release and let go and open, the newness will be brought to you in a new level of comfort. Hold tight to both worlds. There are no gaps between the two. They overlap. Choose joy and alignment in your life. Joy is your choice!

How to Get The Most From Your Home Workouts

How to Get The Most From Your Home Workouts

A recent study found that home workouts may do even more good than workouts at a gym. This is good news for people who are time crunched and find it’s too much trouble to make it to a health club.
So how do you get the most from your home workouts? Follow these suggestions:
1. Have A Plan. Know exactly what it is you want to accomplish and how you intend to get there. Plan out the exercises and the amount of reps and weight you will use. If time is a factor, make sure the volume of your workout fits the alloted time. If you can only squeeze in 10-15 minutes, then make the most of it. Use compound moves for the large muscle groups. Use an exercise log and refer back to it. It’s a great way to track your progress.
2. Have What You Need. Make sure you have available any equipment you intend to use and that you know how to use it. If you have never used resistance tubes, then practice with them in advance so you get a sense of the tension they provide. If you plan to use a stability ball, make sure you have the right size for your height. See a chart here.
3. Know How to Do Things Right. Make sure you are familiar with the exercises you plan to include in your home workout. Do some research and completely understand any new exercises you intend to do. Form is very important. Proper form will keep you from injuring yourself.
4. Mix Things Up. Don’t stick with one workout for ever. Your body will quickly adapt to any form of exercise if you stay with it for too long. Make sure in your planning stage that you build in variety through new exercises, a different exercise order, different rep scheme or try supersets or a circuit.
5. Get Support. Work with a personal trainer to learn what you should do and how you should do it. A recent study showed that people who worked with a trainer worked harder and met their goals faster than those who did not.
Just because you are doing a home workout does not mean that it can’t be as tough or tougher than people who travel to a gym. Once you know where you are going and how you intend to get there, the rest is up to you. Follow your plan, give it 100% effort, eat right, and you’ll be on your way to a fit body.

Make Sure Prospects Know How You Differ From Other Lawyers And You’ll Be Miles Ahead Of Competitors

Make Sure Prospects Know How You Differ From Other Lawyers And You’ll Be Miles Ahead Of Competitors

Are you the same as all other lawyers? Of course not. But do your prospects and clients know how you’re different?
Everything you do to attract new clients and maintain current client relationships should clearly state how you differ from other lawyers.
One of the most important functions of marketing is to emphasize the ways you differ from your competitors. Yet if you interviewed your prospects and clients, they might tell you one lawyer is the same as another.
Everything you do to attract new clients and maintain current client relationships should clearly state how you differ from other lawyers.
Some time back, I heard the marketing director at a large law firm say that her lawyers weren’t any different from lawyers at dozens of large firms. If she truly believes that, the firm needs a new marketing director because she just surrendered in the face of her competitors.
No two competing attorneys are exactly the same. No other attorney on the planet has exactly the same education as you. No other lawyer has served the same clients — or handled the same cases — as you. No other lawyer has taken the same continuing education classes as you. As a result, no other lawyer will make decisions exactly the way you do.
Whether this makes you liberal or conservative, aggressive or passive, here’s the point: Every bit of information and experience that you absorb affects how you provide advice and services to your clients. Your advice and services are not like those provided by any other lawyer. You should promote your uniqueness as one of your major competitive advantages.
Competitive advantages and disadvantages are determined ONLY by what is important to your prospects and clients. If you’ve been in practice 20 years, you could conclude that your tenure is a considerable competitive advantage. But if your prospects don’t care whether their lawyer has practiced for 20 years or 5 years, it’s no advantage at all, at least not to that group of prospects.
Here’s your assignment: The positive ways you differ from other lawyers are your competitive advantages. The negative ways you differ are your competitive disadvantages. Identify both so you know your strengths and weaknesses.
Look at the following lists from your prospective clients’ point of view. Write down your answers to each question and then label whether you think the answer is an advantage (A), a disadvantage (D), or whether it is neutral (N) in your prospects= eyes.
Look first in these areas:
Evaluate your qualifications: Where did you graduate from law school? How long have you practiced law? To which courts are you admitted to practice? Which, if any, certifications have you received? List your professional memberships in bar associations, bar sections, lawyers’ groups, and the like.
Evaluate your experience: Overall, how wide or narrow is the area of law in which you practice? What types of cases or problems do you handle? Specifically, what types of cases or problems are you most experienced at handling? Do you have experience in one particular area at which you could be considered an expert? If so, in which area? What specialized skills do you have? Are there any types of cases in your area of the law where you don’t have much experience?
Evaluate how you serve clients: What specific services do you provide? How long do clients wait for their case to be resolved? How long does it take you to return phone calls? If a prospect or client needs to see you right away, how soon can he meet with you? How much do clients typically pay for services? How pleased are clients with the results?
Evaluate the physical environment in which you serve clients: Is your office location convenient for your clients? Can your clients easily find a parking space? Covered or uncovered? Do your clients have to pay to park? Is your complex physically attractive and inviting? Is your office easy to find and easy to walk to in your complex? Is your office reception area attractive and inviting? Is the furniture comfortable? Are your magazines current? (Recently, I picked up a magazine in a doctor’s reception room that was 11 years old.) Does someone greet your guests and offer them something to drink when they enter your reception area?
Evaluate your office or the room where you meet with clients: Is the furniture comfortable? Is the room neat and orderly? Are the floor and windows clean? Do you sit with clients on the same side of your desk? Do you sit across the desk from clients, allowing the desk to form a barrier between you and your guests? If you use education-based marketing, your educational efforts become a significant competitive advantage.
Evaluate your office procedures when you’re involved in client meetings: Do you insist on no interruptions? Do you bar phone calls except in emergencies? Do you give your guests your undivided attention? Do you allow guests enough time to discuss their problem?
One more important advantage: If you use education-based marketing, your educational efforts become a significant competitive advantage. People who request your educational materials, as well as your existing clients, receive your monthly newsletter. They receive invitations to your seminars. You invite them to call you with their legal questions. And so forth. In this way, the marketing method you choose can be a major competitive advantage that leaves other firms in your dust.
If you think of anything else that distinguishes you from other lawyers, add it to this list.
Your competitive advantages benefit you only if you make them known to your prospects. So start by memorizing the many ways you’re different. When you talk with prospective clients, explain your competitive advantages as part of your conversation. Likewise, in your written materials, feature your competitive advantages because those are the reasons prospects hire you.

Ten Steps to Achieving your Personal Goals

Ten Steps to Achieving your Personal Goals

Why should anyone have goals anyway, I sometimes hear people ask. Well there are quite a few reasons, but to put it in a nutshell, goal setting really does help you to plan and when you have a plan you can do something about it and that is what helps make dreams become your reality – putting a plan into action. It is all in the doing! The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.

1. What exactly do you want? Define your Goal

Is your goal clearly defined with a specific plan of action? Is it important to you personally? Is it within your power to make happen? Is it something you have a reasonable chance of achieving?

Are you clear about what is important for you in your life? Do you make your choices based on this? Is your goal something YOU really want or is it something you think or you’ve been told you should want?

You can only achieve your goals if you are totally clear on exactly what it is you want.

So… what exactly do you want?

2. How strong is your desire? Determine the Strength of Your Desire

Do your goals inspire and energize you?

On a scale of 1 -10, with 1 being very weak and 10 being “I’d do anything to achieve this goal”, how strong is your desire?

The greater your desire, the stronger your inner drive to action towards that goal.

So… on a Scale of 1-10, how strong is your desire?

3. Have you written down your goals? Write It Down

Have you put your goal on paper and made it official? Did you know that only 3 % of people write down their goals, and of those 3%, 80% of them actually achieve their goals? Are you one of the 80%? Writing down your goal is your declaration that You Want It! Be specific. Place it where you will see it several times a day. So…have you written down your goals?

4. Can You See & Feel Yourself Having What You Want? Define All The Ways You Will Benefit From Reaching Your Goal.

Can you visualize yourself having arrived at your goal? Where are you? How is your life different? What are you doing? How do you feel? Be specific. The more benefits you can envision, the more energized and inspired you will feel and the greater the pull that goal will have on you. See & feel yourself already there. Use the power of that vision to fuel your actions.

So… can you see & feel yourself having what you want?

5. Where are you now? Determine Your Starting Point

What is your starting point? Do you know where you are now, in order to plot the most advantageous & direct course to your destination? With a clear starting point, you can head in the right direction. Making a plan is much like mapping your route for a road trip. If you don’t know where you are, you can’t know how to get where you are going.

So… where are you now?

6. What is Your Time Frame? Set Timelines & Deadlines

Have you committed to timelines and deadlines? Are you MAKING the time to MAKE the goal? Have you scheduled time to work on your goal and put that time into your diary? Have you prioritized and eliminated things that are of less, or no, value? By doing this, you commit to clearing the way to taking action towards your goal. Schedule actions and then take those actions!

So… what are you committing to do? What is your time frame?

7. What obstacles might you face and how will you deal with them? Consider possible blocks/obstacles and ways of dealing with them.

What possible obstacles will you face? Have you prepared contingency plans to deal with those obstacles? How can you deal with them the most effectively? Forewarned is forearmed.

So… what obstacles might you face and how will you deal with them?

8. What are Your Strengths and Resources? Identify Resources

What strengths & resources do you have that will help you move forward? Who are the people or organizations that will support you? Who is on your success team? How can you improve the skills you’ll need and build on the strengths you already have? Have you succeeded or failed at tasks that were similar to this before? What resources did you use that were helpful before? What can you do to maximize your chances of success this time? What can you do differently? What can you do to motivate yourself to reach your goal? Be your own best resource.

So… what are your strengths and resources?

9. What is Your Plan and What are the Steps? Make A Plan

“A Dream is just a Dream. A Goal is a Dream with a Plan and a Deadline”

Have you broken your goal down into small manageable steps that can be done on a daily basis? Have you identified and time-lined each task that needs to be done? Have you discerned your starting point? What do you need to do first? What structures do you have in place to keep track of your progress? Accomplishing a goal requires taking the steps. These steps, in turn, become habits. What daily habits do you need to create? Big successes start with little ones.

So… what is your plan and what are the steps?

10. Are you committed? Make A Commitment & Believe In Yourself

Are you committed or are you just trying? How many people do you know who have tried to do something and failed?

Say the following sentence to yourself: “I’m going to try to ______________”

Now say “I’m committed to _____________”

Which feels more solid and more likely to happen? To achieve any goal, you need to COMMIT yourself to achieving it. Have you really committed to doing every single thing that’s necessary to achieve that goal? Are you committed to putting in ALL the necessary time, energy and money?

Look over your plan and the steps to achieve your goal. Do you believe that you can do it? Do you have any doubts? Are your expectations realistic?

Deal with your fears and expectations of yourself.

So… are you committed? Do you believe in yourself?

Bonus Step: Celebrate

How will you acknowledge the work that you have done and celebrate the completion of each of the steps along the way? How can you use that energy of success to keep you moving forward? Don’t wait until the end to celebrate.

Celebrating each small victory acknowledges your successes and keeps you motivated and focused.

So…Let’s Celebrate!

What’s My Competitor Doing?

What’s My Competitor Doing?

You won’t win every piece of work you pitch for; it’s just not possible…and very time you lose a contract it’s going to a competitor. However, you can help prevent this from happening by analysing the competition.

Why analyse competition? How does this help? It allows you to understand why your competitor looked like a more appropriate fit for your perspective clients needs as well as what they are doing that you aren’t. To get contracts, you need to understand how you lose them.

You need to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. How are they better than you? Do they have more experience? Do they have existing relationships with the client? Figure exactly out their strengths and then do two things.

Firstly, figure out how to turn their strength into a weakness – find a way to twist a positive aspect into a negative one. For example, are they an older company with more experience? Then emphasize that you are more creative, free-thinking and adaptive.

How are they planning to beat you and other competitors? Ghost their strengths in your proposal and try and downplay their importance to the client, instead emphasising the importance of your unique selling points. Where your competitor is weak emphasise what you can do in those areas. Make sure you explain how you excel above what is normally expected.

The internet makes doing competitor research remarkably easy. You can browse a corporate website or, if using an outsourcing site, you may be able to view previous contract history. If they do any type of advertising, weather offline or on, you can review and research the marketing information they use. It’s not hard to find out something about how they position themselves, any legitimate business will do some sort of self promotion that you can find. This knowledge is invaluable to helping you grow and achieve better contracts.

With the Learn to Write Proposals (www.learntowriteproposals.co.uk) Bid Management Toolkit you will find the Competitor Evaluation Matrix to help perform and document your competitive analysis as part of your bid preparation.

Another great idea is to get feedback from previous opportunities you have lost. Quite often, companies will be more than happy to discuss why you ultimately lost out. These opportunities are one of the best ways to understand what the bidder liked in the winners bid and the weaknesses in yours.

Car Paintings – How To Begin A Car Painting

Car Paintings – How To Begin A Car Painting

How come painting cars is so hard compared to lets say a flower? Well the main thing with cars is that every little line has to be perfectly proportioned one little mistake and it can screw up the whole painting. This is because our brain is very good at remembering shapes and details around it. While a red rose can have different shades, come in different sizes, different leaves etc, a car model stays the same, so we will spot the difference rather quickly when something isn’t correct.

When you do your next car panting, do not rush the early parts of it, the part when you try to get all the proportions right before starting to shade or paint. It doesn’t matter if you are extremely good with colors, or your shading technique is superb when you draw cars. If you don’t get the proportions right, the end result will not be very good. That is how important it is to get the proportions right. How do you do it? How do I do it?

Start out with a clean sheet of paper, preferably a pretty big one. Find a good picture of that car you want to draw, this picture will be used as reference for your car painting / drawing.

Start by doing some soft lines on the paper, try to get the general box proportion right. By box proportion I mean the most basic lines, like the cars bottom and roof. After you have done that, start by adding the front or rear of the car. (Depending on how the car is positioned on your reference picture)

When this is done, and you feel you really nailed these lines well, then move on to the small details like the headlights, door handles, windows etc. My advice is to not start doing the wheels to early because those are usually the hardest part. Do the wheels when you are happy with the overall lines of your car painting. Then take a break. Yes take a break for it all! This is good because when you come back an hour or so later you will probably notice small things that needs to be corrected, which you didn’t notice while you were drawing the car. Add this small details and remember don’t start to shade and paint the car until you feel very satisfied with the cars shape and details. When you do, then I would suggest you start to shade it carefully. How you shade it correctly is another topic, which I will cover on my next article.

Steps in choosing the best health plans

Steps in choosing the best health plans

Choosing a health plan which is the best could be a confusing experience. Although there is no one “best” plans, there are various plans accessible today in market that would be better than others for you and your family’s health insurance needs. In simple terms, however, rather that mere giving you the answers, the best thing we could do is to make sure you are ready with the right questions. The following questions could help you and your family to take intellectual decisions on choosing the best from various options available regarding health care.

There are three major things to be considered, each with their own exclusive set of questions. By considering the questions thoroughly, you would arrive at the right plan for you and your family

1.How affordable is the cost of health care?

• How much would it cost me on a monthly basis?
• Should I try to insure only major medical expenses or cover most of my medical expenses?
• Can I afford a policy that at least cares for my children?
• Are there deductibles I should pay before the insurance begins to help cover my costs?
• After I have met the deductible, what part of my costs is actually paid by the plan?
• If I use doctors outside a plan’s complex, how much more would I pay to get care?
• How frequently do I visit the doctor and how much do I have to pay at each visit?

2.Do the integrated services match my needs (access of care)?

• What doctors, hospitals, and additional medical providers are parts of the plan?
• Are there sufficient kinds of doctors I want to see?
• Where would I go for care? Are these places near where I work or live?
• Do I require getting permission before I see a medical specialist?
• Are there any limits to how much I should pay in case of a major illness?
• Does the plan cover up the expenses of delivering a baby?

3.Have people had good results when covered by a specific plan (quality of care)?

• How do self-governing government organizations rate the different plans?
• What do my friends say about their understanding with a specific plan?
• What does my doctor say about their knowledge with a specific plan?

The Right Way to Start a Home Based Business

The Right Way to Start a Home Based Business

Starting a new business is scary, exhilarating, challenging and at times downright confusing. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the huge number of tasks in front of you. When you get in that state, step back and think, “What can I do today that will get my message in front of my customers?” If you’re thinking about this all the time, the other details will fall into place.
The first thing you need to do is decide on the goals for your business. What do you personally want to get out of it? How many hours do you want to work? How many employees do you want to have? How much money do you want to make? The idea here is to get as clear a vision as possible of what your business will look like when it is established so you’ll know what needs to be done to get there. For a very clear step-by-step method to do this, I highly recommend a program called E-Myth.
Next, do the math. So many people—including me—have learned the hard way that the business they created is not capable of meeting the goals they set for themselves. To help avoid this problem, do some market research to determine how much you’ll be able to charge for your product or service and what volume you’ll be able to sell. Think about how many hours you’ll be able to work in a day and get a rough idea of the maximum amount you could make. Once you have rough estimates for those figures, you can decide if the money you could make or the time you need to put in will be worth the effort. You’d be surprised at how many people spend years working in a business that is just not capable of becoming what they hoped it would, even if everything went perfectly.
Many new entrepreneurs think success is all about developing a great product or service, but actually it’s all about selling it. Before you spend tons of time and money developing your product, make a prototype or develop a clear and concise description of what it will be, and do some market research. Figure out who your prospective customers will be, and go talk to them! Ask questions. Find out what they’ll pay. Consider their feedback and modify your design accordingly. Look at other companies that are selling similar products or services. Find out what they charge, how they market and what their competitive advantage is. Go into their stores and watch their customers. Find out what they are doing and why, and how customers respond. Once you think you have a clear understanding of what the market wants, then move ahead with your product or develop your service.
You’ll also need to decide what kind of company structure will best fit your plans (S Corp., LLC, sole proprietorship and so on).
If possible, work out of your home for awhile or rent the minimum space and equipment necessary to run your business. It’s important to keep your overhead as low as possible, at least until things start to take off. Resist the temptation to rent a nice office and fill it with furniture and equipment. I used to think that was impressive, but I came to realize it was just expensive.
